Our story begins with Marie Alunise Mars mother of 9 children who migrated from Haiti to the United States in 1971. Alunise was a quiet, strong-willed woman who enjoyed helping others in need and spent most of her lifetime working in the Health Care field.

After a tragic fire which resulted to the loss of her husband Joseph, Alunise developed health complications, became dependent on her past career and field to provide her with home care and adult daycare services until her passing in 2016.
